Jahirul’s Activity Report

As we approach the end of 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements, and renew our commitment to an inclusive future.

Highlights from 2024:

This year has been one of remarkable growth and innovation for Team Inclusion Bangladesh. Together, we:

  • Advanced Disability Inclusion: Through initiatives like the Preparing Actionable Data for Inclusive Shelter workshop and launching projects in financial literacy, we strengthened our commitment to leaving no one behind.
  • Promoted Accessible Innovation: By investing in modern equipment, developing universal digital content solutions, and centering lived experiences in our work, we have driven impactful change.
  • Celebrated Inclusion in Action: From leading initiatives like the Deaf Mental Health Project to actively participating in international platforms, we have amplified the voices and rights of persons with disabilities.
  • Explored Leadership Potential: After completing the prestigious Duskin Leadership Program in Japan, we have shared and explored innovative ideas on both national and international platforms, enhancing our approach to inclusion.
  • Expanded Our Reach: Collaborations with academic institutions and stakeholders have resulted in impactful projects like the Inclusion Café, broadening our scope and influence.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and passion of our incredible team, partners, and supporters.

Looking Ahead to 2025:

The New Year brings new challenges and opportunities. At Team Inclusion Bangladesh, we pledge to:

  1. Strengthen Partnerships: Work closely with communities, organizations, and stakeholders to co-create sustainable and inclusive solutions.
  2. Innovate for Inclusion: Introduce pioneering projects like the Sign Bank launch and focus on eco-friendly initiatives that align with universal design principles.
  3. Empower through Leadership: Build capacity within our team and ensure meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in every step of our journey.
  4. Expand Our Horizons: From comparative disability research to marketing workplace mental health, we will continue pushing boundaries for a more inclusive Bangladesh.

As we embrace 2025, let us remain steadfast in our shared commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible world for all. Together, we can continue to achieve transformative change and make a lasting impact.

Thank you for being an invaluable part of this journey. Wishing you and your loved ones a New Year filled with hope, health, and happiness!
